I often think of my daughters birthmothers, but I think of them more at holidays, especially today. I wrote the following for my youngest daughter's bmom but today I would like to post if for both of our bmoms.
A Mother’s Love
When you found out about me,at first, you could not believe it.But when reality finally hit,you knew what you had to do.When your plans for me were finished, and the Lord's time was right, I was born. The doctor cut the cord that tied us together, and I became my own little person. When I was placed in my new mommy's arm's,her love for me burst forth. That love was matched only with one other love, her love for you, for your unselfish act of love for me,You and I will never be tied together by life's cord again, but by love's cord, which is much stronger andstands the test of time.So when you think of me,don't think of me with sadness, think of me with pride.Because of your love for me,I don't have just one mommy,I have two.
