Update

We are going home (supposedly), sometime today. Much to Cheyenne's dismay, they just hung another 2 hr. abx..so, not for a while yet.We came in with the intentions of IV antibiotics (which we are doing), sinus surgery consult and surgery, while inside...and a consult for lung surgery of some sort, depending on what could be done the easiest and provide the longest relief for Chey.

We did see the ENT and she was supposed to have sinus surgery on Wednesday..didnt happen because her platelets were too low and she is anemic. The other doctor never came in but did talk to our doctor several times about how to proceed. We found out on Thursday, the easiest, fastest surgery is out of the question for two reasons. 1) they dont do that here. 2) they dont ever do it on an eight year old.

They did PFT's yesterday and it showed she is down another 9 points from last Friday...while on 2 iv abx for most of that time...argh. I feel like this "visit", didn't accomplish anything for her other than, she has not ran a fever in several days, so that is good. This visit for me, did allow me to become better aquainted with Julie...I really enjoyed spending time with you, Julie...thanks for keeping me sane, or at least the same as I was when I came in here.

Thank you everyone for your prayers...they are more than welcomed and much appreciated.
